What is new at a glance
Exams
Improved exams
Many users told us that confirming every single answer was cumbersome, so we simplified the exam interface.
- No separate confirmation: answers no longer need to be locked in after each question.
- Optimised for smartphones: the exam interface has been redesigned for mobile use.
- Better navigation: participants can flag questions, jump back to unanswered ones and keep track even in longer exams.
Usability
New onboarding with progress tracking
Hundreds of new teachers sign up to QuizAcademy every month. To make getting started easier, we revised the “First steps” onboarding. You will find it under your profile the next time you log in.
- Step-by-step guidance for exams, courses and live events.
- A progress indicator with a recommendation for the next step.
- A certificate at the end.
Content
Improved Kahoot import
Using Kahoot and thinking of switching? The import is now simpler and more reliable – your existing content arrives cleanly in QuizAcademy.
Usability
Faster and more stable
A back-end update makes QuizAcademy more stable and faster, especially for exams and live events.
Usability
Collapsible help buttons
The help buttons in the bottom right can be collapsed to keep the interface tidy.
Who is this update for?
Examiners and teachers whose participants sit exams on a smartphone benefit from the simplified interface. New teachers get to their first course faster with the revised onboarding. Anyone who wants to switch from Kahoot can bring existing content over with the improved import.
How to try it
- In the left-hand CMS menu, open “Progress” under “Profile”.
- Follow the recommendation for the next step, for example for exams, courses or live events.
- Finish the introduction and collect your certificate.
The Academy shows you step by step how to use each of these features. There you will find guides for creating content, running live events and setting up exams, so you can get started straight away. Go to the Academy
